Agfpt BTN-507: 15 days

The black mountain ranges nearly divides the country in two running from the north at the Tibetan border to the south rich in wildlife at the  sanctuary to Manas. The route follows rich rhodendron forests and typical villages.

Day 01: Arrival Paro
Day 02: Sightseeing at paro
Day 03: Drive to Thimpu
Day 04: Sightseeing of thimpu.
Day 05: Drive to Punakha and Wangdi.
Day 06: Trek commences, through Nitsegang goompa to pass and enter Khotakha valley. Camp o/n.
Day 07: Trek to Gogana after crossing shobjula pass altitude 11155 fts. Camp near gompa. Visit gogana farm. 5/6 hrs.
Day 08:Trek to phobjikha after crossing Tselse La pass. Camp below monastery.
Day 09: Ascend gradually to cross the pass on Pele La range and descend to Rukubi village for camp.
Day 10: Drive to Tongsa and then to Bumthong.
Day 11-12: Day excursion.
Day 13: Drive to Wangdi.
Day 14: Drive to paro.
Day 15: Departure Paro
